There is no getting around the fact that high school and university are very different.
The style of teaching at university will be different. The nature of your assignments will be different. The demands on your time will be far greater than in high school, and the standards by which your work will be judged will be much higher. At the same time, you will be faced with a previously unknown number of distractions as well as the freedom to indulge those distractions. This can be an overwhelming combination for new university students, which in turn can lead to students burning out, giving up, and failing.
But don't let this scare you off! The years you spend as a university student can be the most rewarding time of your life.
The fact remains that if you want to enter university fully prepared to succeed, you need information. This is where historyhelp.ca can help. As an experienced educator, I know what it takes to succeed at university, and I want to pass this knowledge on to high school students so that they too can excel in the next phase of their education.
